About Eric
I am a 4th year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine with plans of becoming a family physician. For one of my elective offerings my final year of medical school, I have decided to do an international health elective in Durban, South Africa at a facility called McCord Hospital. I will be learning medicine mostly on inpatient services while at McCord and hopefully taking a trip to Cape Town as well as a safari on my weekends off. Unfortunately I will be in South Africa a few months before the World Cup 2010, which is taking place in South Africa this year. Hopefully I will have access to internet while abroad and will try to update this blog on a semi-regular basis. I’ll be heading out January 30, 2010. Farewell!
