Far far from home

Hi! My name is Gretchen and this past summer I spent 2 months in Mbingo, Cameroon through INMED.   At the time I was a physician assistant student and used this experience to count for my elective clinical rotation.  I have since graduated with my masters, but the experience has stuck with me and changed my outlook on medicine and the world.  And being one of the students who felt that a blog site would help inform future students about experiences like mine it’s only fair that I share some of what I saw and learned while living and working internationally.
