Soon to be departing

Hello world
As I am leaving for Vellore in just over 36 hours, I find myself doing last minute packing and reading up /investigating my transit options and what I’m going to do during my 26 hour transit, which I am not particularly looking forward to. Am a little excited and a little apprehensive for this experience, as most people are with their travels. I am not sure what to think of the vast temperature difference right now either, as it is supposed to be 100-102 all next week in Vellore, and is currently 28 here in KC with snow coming tonight.
I should be working in CHAD (Community health and development) at the CMC in Vellore and working with the TB program, a very challenging and important disease to prevent. Starting Wednesday morning, giving me Monday lost in planes and Tuesday to find my way to Vellore and figure out where I need to be for the next 36 days.
