Onto our second week of infectious diseases/tropical medicine at the main CMC hospital in Vellore which is a gigantor structure at 2,230 beds. 

My teammates are almost back to health with one still battling giardiasis on metronidazole.  But, this has been such a special experience in team building in a foreign environment. 

 I have been reading through Paul Brand’s book, “The Gift of Pain.”……yikes actually gotta get going and will continue soon. 

Quote from a surgeon, “The one thing physicians need to do is to cultivate humility.”……mmmm, indeed.
