Our Journey to the “Bush Church”
January 21st, 2008 Posted in INMEDThis is on our way to the bush church.
That’s the bush church straight away!
Here we are with all of the locals that attend this particular bush church.
Chowin’ down on some sugar fruit on the way home.
Mmmm…..more sugar fruit!
Watch your step! Narrow walkway bridge ahead.
Looks like I made it!
Now onward home with many views to take in on the way.
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.” Matthew 6:3-4a

hello kevin,
My name is Josh Adams and I’m a 4th year med student at the University of TN College of medicine. Some of my friends were interviewing at your residency and came across you. My wife and I (as well as a good friend from Ohio State COM) are going to kudjip for the month of march and first week of April. I’ll be following closely along with your blog. We’d love any suggestions or advice you’d have for our trip. Take care and many blessings.

Hi Kevin, I’m a current 3rd year med student, and stumbled across your blog while going through the INMED website. I’m considering applying for this hospital for a 4th year elective, so I’m especially enjoying what you’ve posted about life in PNG. Thanks so much for taking the time to share what you’re seeing and doing!
