I am a nurse from the Northwest. Washington State to be exact. Yay for apples, salmon, coffee, recycling, and RAIN!!
I’ve worked as a pediatric nurse as well as spent the last year and a half working in rural Northwest Haiti. I like to think of Haiti as my second home as somehow the country and it’s people have captured my heart. I’m hoping (in a far off dream) that maybe the principles I learn about public health in Kenya can somehow be transferred to that little Caribbean island. Not sure how that may happen but I’m open and waiting patiently to see where the path leads.
