It’s A Small World After All…

Nick and I are sitting in the Chicago Airport, and we just ran into Dr. Cameron Gongwer, one of the INMED docs who spoke at our conference a few weeks ago, who has trained our students at Ankaase Hospital in Ghana.  He and his wife are on their way back to Ghana, and we just barely saw them as they walked by in front of us in one of the terminals at our airport.  Talk about a small world.  I wonder what the odds of that are…They just called us to board our flight to London for eight hours, a three hour layover in London, and then another 8 hour flight to Nairobi.  We’ll arrive at 8:55 pm Kenya time, which is 1:55 pm on Monday afternoon Missouri time.  I brought lots of books to read, so I’m sure I’ll get a lot of accomplished.  I’m in a window seat for the first leg, so hopefully I can get some shuteye. If you get a chance, read Romans 8:28.  God’s been challenging me with that verse lately.

Leaving in 2 days…

Get excited!  I’ll be leaving for Kenya in 2 days.  I’m curious what the Lord has in store for us.
