The day starts here with a staff devotional. \u00a0I was then given a campus tour. \u00a0It is amazing to see the multi specialty hospital and outpatient services that are offered.<\/p>\n

My first order of business was emergency rounds with the prescriber and then spending my morning with emergency department staff. \u00a0I saw a variety of patients. \u00a0I will share more clinically in subsequent posts.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I had the privilege of having coffee after lunch with Mr. Botwe, hospital CEO. \u00a0This gave me time to learn more about the population and region served and also to ask questions that I had jotted down up to this point. \u00a0(A little notepad in your scrub pocket will serve you well)!<\/p>\n

Patrick gave me a tour of the Wenchi market. \u00a0Now I will know where to shop so I can cook!<\/p>\n

The afternoon was spent in strategic planning\u00a0with department heads. \u00a0My ten plus years in administrative roles served me well! \u00a0This is a passionate group of leaders and I was honored to be there.<\/p>\n
