While these are life changing experiences for most\u00a0of these participants, INMED&#8217;s hope that they will also inspire career decisions that to serve the most marginalized of people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One INMED graduate is already fulfilling this vision. In January and February 2008, as a resident physician, Dr. Kevin served at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inmed.us\/service-learning\/training-sites\/kudjip-nazarene-hospital-papua-new-guinea\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kudjip Nazarene Hospital<\/a>\u00a0in Papua New Guinea as part of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inmed.us\/service-learning\/diplomas\/international-medicine-public-health\/\" target=\"_blank\">INMED Diploma in International Medicine &amp; Public Health<\/a>. While reflecting on his two months at Papua New Guinea, Dr. Kevin\u00a0remarks, &#8220;It has definitely been a time that I will always cherish. The medical experience\u00a0was\u00a0outstanding and the weekend adventures unforgettable. But it will be the people that I will miss the most&#8230; The INMED program had an overwhelming impact on my personal life and my academic endeavors. My experience solidified my desire to continue this tract of service. It also intensified my desire to be a part of the Via Christi Family Medicine International Fellowship in the upcoming academic year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Does Dr. Kevin&#8217;s\u00a0story inspire you?
