The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research offered one of the most reputable courses at the time, and I was thrilled to be accepted into their program in spite of my non-military background. I spent the summer of 1987 at their location in Washington, DC, and while the professors possessed esteemed\u00a0credentials I found the course sorely lacking in addressing of cross-cultural and health leadership skills.\u00a0Fast forward twenty years, now is my personal opportunity to make good on what was lacking at Walter Reed. June 1-12, 2009, INMED is offering our first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inmed.us\/courses-inmed\/hybrid-courses\/\">International Medicine Intensive Course<\/a>.
