\"Dr.<\/a>I so enjoyed talking this week with\u00a0Pamela Smith, a physician from Chicago who completed the clinical experience for the\u00a0INMED International Medicine Certificate\u00a0at\u00a0Lubango Evangelical Medical Center<\/a>\u00a0in Angola, southern Africa. \u201cThis was so very different than any medical mission I\u2019ve ever experienced. Before, I was the leader, though really knew almost nothing about the nation where I was serving nor the health needs of the community. But in Angola, under the guidance of Dr. Steve Foster and his Angolan colleagues, I was truly learning. The teaching was superb. The medical ministry was already well established. And in this organized environment, I discovered that I had both so much to give, so much to teach, and so many lives to save.
