Some Views of Where I’m Working

June 19th, 2019 by Bryce Loder

I’m the owner of this room this month. And just look behind the door.
Sink with running water. Exam table, rolling chair. Decent number of electrical outlets (hello builders everywhere else in the world). I’m happy to call this home for June.
Don’t look too closely or too critically, but this is a really nice setup.
And this is like a model showroom patient ward. I don’t think it gets used. Add a few mats on the floor for family members and the food necessary for everyone, and it could get a little hot and crowded like the other wards.
Nurses’ station with supplies on hand. And a fresh mango, just in case.
I love this padded “foot board” constructed out of necessity when this little guy finally woke up after a few days of lying basically unconscious. He is 8 months old and kicks a lot now (happily), so the night nurse decided to protect his IV. He’s not going to kick that foot with a liter of IV fluids to weigh it down.
