INMED International Medicine Clinical Skills Courses in Pittsburgh, PA

Skillful health care for culturally diverse people in low-resources settings will be an extreme test of your clinical abilities. Just imagine the challenges you might face serving in the wake of Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Maria, Congo’s growing Ebola epidemic, or even California’s persistent measles outbreaks.

This fall, INMED is offering our series of International Medicine Clinical Skills courses in Pittsburgh, PA, hosted by University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This will be a uniquely efficient opportunity for you to bolster multiple skills all at one time and in one location. You can select from one of the following, or all three:

Wednesday, November 14, 2018 – Professional Certificate Course in Helping Babies Breathe (save 15% with coupon code HBB15 when registering here).

Thursday, November 15, 2018 – Professional Certificate Course in Ultrasound for Primary Care (save 15% with coupon code Ultrasound15 when registering here).

Friday and Saturday, November 16 – 17, 2018 Professional Certificate Course in International Medicine & Public Health. Online section begins September 3 (save 15% with coupon code hybrid15 when registering here). Parallel courses are also offered in International Nursing and International Public Health.

All three courses are taught using an interactive online preparation, simulation, and hands-on practical skills training. And, the Professional Certificate Course in International Medicine & Public Health also qualifies participants to proceed onward to serve at an INMED Training Site in one of 25 nations. And then, when the next hurricane or epidemic strikes, you’ll be one of the few actually equipped to respond.
