6 Reasons NOT to Come to the Humanitarian Health Conference!

This Kansas City event on May 30-31 may not be a fit for you. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference for the following reasons:

Reason #1: You are not distressed over today’s victims of war, you are not concerned for those who are disabled or elderly, you are not apprehensive over the plight of refugees or people who are most poor.

Reason #2: You are already settled in your profession. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference. UNLESS, on the other hand, you are motivated to find an exemplary organization with whom you could serve, whether in the United States or throughout the low-income world.

Reason #3: Your professional skills need no advancement. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference. UNLESS, on the contrary, you feel compelled to advance your skills in ultrasound, wound care, newborn resuscitation, complicated obstetrics, tropical medicine, malnutrition, and even fundraising.

Reason #4: You have no research or innovation interests. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference. UNLESS, moreover, you are passionate about sharing your poster presentation on a subject of global health education, research, innovation, or case study from your own service experience.

Reason #5: You are quite content to not expand your professional circle. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference. UNLESS, alternatively, you yearn to meet individuals who share your concerns and vision for serving humanity. At this event, some have even found the love of their life.

Reason #6: You are satisfied with your role in the world today. Please DO NOT come to the Humanitarian Health Conference. UNLESS, that is, you are exceptionally dedicated to advancing the welfare of our world’s most vulnerable people.
