I am feeling warmhearted as I read Kirk Bodach’s account from Mseleni Hospital in South Africa: “On my last day working in the outpatient clinic the patient I was seeing said that he had been watching me. He said that I had done something VERY GOOD. Apparently he had seen me eating lunch at that hospital with my wife. Before we started eating my wife and I held hands and prayed, giving thanks for our meal. My patient thought praying with your wife before a meal was a great idea and something he planned to make part of his routine. I was caught of guard and surprised at how a simple gesture was inspirational to a patient!”
